Rare photos of Marilyn Monroe titled The Last Sitting went up for auction on March 10-15.
This lot was taken by Bert Stern, who was a self-taught photographer back in the mid 1950s.
The Last Sitting is a collection of 2,500 photographs taken for Vogue Magazine of Marilyn Monroe over a three-day period.
What makes these particular pictures so rare?
Marilyn Died Six Weeks Later.
This was the last time the iconic movie star would ever pose in front of a camera.
