Candy Olsen worked in a musical production in Paris, France.
We know her as “The Flame” on A&E’s hit TV show
Storage Wars: New York.
But what you may not know is that she`s a professional
dancer. Last fall Candy auditioned for
An American in Paris. She was cast in the ensemble.
WAY TO GO CANDY!
Today, March 13th, the show previews at The Palace Theatre on Broadway. The production will officially open on April 12th.
It wasn`t all work and no play when Candy lived abroad. She documented a few of her experiences in Paris on her Instagram account.
Let’s take a look a few of her
photos.
1. Eiffel Tower
She visited the most famous monument in all of France. Her selfie shows the height of the tower. Yikes!
2. Arc de Triomphe
She also visited another most famous monument and was photobombed by a complete stranger. How rude!
3. The Louvre
One of the world`s most famous museums. Hmmm, maybe she`s auditioning for the sequel to
The Da Vinci Code.
4. Panettone
After days of sight-seeing, time for some food. Whoa! They do everything BIG in Paris, don`t they? This is a type of a sweet bread loaf. Look at the size of that bread! One loaf could feed a small country. Just saying...
5. Je Suis Charlie - I am Charlie
On Janurary 7, 2015 terrorists stormed the offices of the French satirical weekly newspaper
Charlie Hebdo in Paris and killed seventeen people. Candy marched along the streets of the French capital in unity with the Parisians in this act of solidarity.
6. Street Singers
After tragedy, life goes on, maybe not quite the same as before, but it does go on. Here Candy stumbled upon an old fashion street singer. Music on the curb, felt like New York City (almost).
7. Vintage Store
Why is Candy all smiles? She just found a haven of vintage clothing - dive in girlfriend!
8. Cirque d`Hiver Bouglione
Candy went to
this prominent venue geared for circuses and musical concerts. Looks like a circus was in town. Such fun!
9. Zen
After longs days of rehersals, shows, eating, shopping... Candy took a moment to meditate on a fur chair. I know what you`re thinking - Fur chair? Only in Paris.
10. Paris Apartment
Time to call it a day and return to her apartment. Uh, this look like the size of a New York City apartment. No wonder Candy felt right at home in Paris!
